What I'm doing now

There’s quite a lot going on in my life, and I love all the recent changes. 

Seems like everything at the moment is geared towards upgrades. 

Website upgrade

If you’re reading this page, the website upgrade is probably finished, and you’re welcome to email me to tell me I’m sloppy and I should update my Now Page. Tx. 

It’s been a super-intense week of learning how to design, style, and shape things, with the help of my very close friend Paula Mould – and no, she no longer takes on dev jobs, because she and my other former client Leigh Shenton now run a business teaching artists how to sell their work. Don’t let me see you ask her to build your site, or I’ll come after you. 

Thing is, she owed me a favour, and boy did she repay it. It’s just wonderful to finally have a website that looks good and doesn’t fall over each time I so much as try to install a plugin. 

And, I now have a website I know how to use in a dynamic way, as an adaptable tool in my marketing, rather than a static shopping window with a blog and a few sales pages. 

Starting a new venture

I have this extremely good friend in Malaga (about 1hr from here) who’s a total genius at finances, operations, and making a business reach its goals, while keeping cashflow healthy. 

I’ve been trying for over a year to get him to start another project with me, but it’s only now that he agreed – and I’m over the moon. 

Branding upgrade

Another thing that happened in the last week, is that first a friend told me that really I should take a stand and claim a space, followed by a sales trainer telling me – no, ordering me – to position myself as an authority in the ethical selling space.

I’ve never done that, but they were both right. And truth be told, I’ve been playing to not lose, instead of playing to win.

Hello new site, new branding, new positioning. I’m happy to meet yous.  

Partnerships, JV's and cross promotions

Any savvy business owner knows that there’s a lot of money to be made for everyone, once we strike deals with other businesses. 

But savvy is only as useful as implementation, right?

So right now I’m working on a number of partnership deals, because hey… why not?
