We're All Making a Ding in the Universe

I live by smiles. For me a smile is a means to an end, because it makes me feel better and it makes me more pleasant to be around.

It’s also a result. Notably, smiles are the result of what I consider healthy thinking.

Imagine an empty, white room. It may be beautiful, but it’s empty and it’s white.

Now imagine one single flower being put in that room. That tiny detail suddenly redefines its entire environment. It even affects the perception of the onlooker.

That flower makes a ding in that room. It’s tiny, but it’s there. Smiles are exactly the same. And so are kindness; friendliness and generosity.

Whenever I can, I try to choose the positive over the negative. Not because I think my amassed smiles over my lifetime will mean much on a cosmic scale, but because it makes me a happier person. Perhaps that’s enough of a ding to make.

Is there any connection with copywriting or marketing in this?

I don’t know. So far, my attitude seems to have been very helpful in running and growing this business. Maybe that says something.

I just know that a) I smile a lot; and b) people like to work with me. Whether the two are connected, I don’t know.

Smile. Make a ding.
