I know it’s early in the year, but you need to know this.
While researching the other day, I came across a very interesting fact: The majority of Christmas spending happens in October and November.
Now, you could argue that it’s too early, but I’m telling you: Within two weeks from today, there is going to be a lot of money changing hands.
Provided you have something on offer that makes a good present, and you act quick, some of that money could be yours.
Even if it’s odd that sales start so early, it clearly indicates that people have a need for presents. Otherwise they wouldn’t spend the money.
It’s not like the marketing industry can actually *create* desire.
So anyway, why not make it known to your prospects that your offer makes a cool gift?
I’m not saying you should start putting snow on your site now, but it would sure be useful to start planning some Xmas sales effort.
What that looks like depends on your business.
But do it now, start preparing. Don’t put it off.
You don’t want to be one of those people who see Black Friday come and go, and who then kick themselves for not getting a slice of the pie.
And then they kick themselves some more for not having set up anything to get more Christmas sales.
Don’t be that person.
Have a think, see what you can do. You don’t need to be pushy about it, or tacky.
Don’t overdo it, but make sure you start to prepare now.
